Allsup’s Reverse Offset Services are designed to help workers’ compensation claimants with offsetting long term disability (LTD) insurance and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) awards.
Allsup will represent these workers’ compensation claimants so they meet the requirements outlined by state and federal law, as well as the claimant’s LTD policy, to receive their due payments.
Federal legislation* instituted provisions where certain states can reduce (offset) their workers’ compensation claims when a claimant also receives SSDI benefits.
In these particular states, Allsup identifies workers’ compensation claims that:
- are already SSDI qualified;
- have the potential for SSDI offset;
- were processed late.
Allsup assists in representing claimants in these three areas to reprocess their claims in accordance with state reverse offset laws and SSDI rules.
Allsup provides a comprehensive assessment report on potential reverse offset claimants and makes recommendations for future recovery opportunities.
