Executive Vice President & COO
Ron Buerges is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Allsup Inc. His Allsup
experiences and extensive career in financial and accounting services provides thorough insight into the complex impact of disability on an individual's financial condition.
Mr. Buerges joined Allsup in October 1999. He reports to President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Allsup and oversees all departments, including finance and accounting, customer service, commercial sales and marketing, systems and claims.
Prior to joining Allsup Inc., Mr. Buerges was senior executive vice president of St. Louis-based Magna Group. He helped that company, which owned and operated banks in three states, double the size of its business in five years. Previously, Mr. Buerges was a senior manager at Ernst & Young in St. Louis before accepting a position with Magna Group.
Buerges's expertise in personal financial planning for the disabled individual includes Social Security disability insurance, private long-term disability insurance, taxes, investments and Medicare.
