Allsup Runs for Kids 5K Run/Walk Update
More than 250 children and adults joined us for the Allsup Runs For Kids fundraiser on Saturday, June 26, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.
All proceeds benefited two children’s charities — the Christian Activity Center and the Tanzania Outreach Project. Based in East St. Louis, the Christian Activity Center provides after-school services and programs for children and youth ages 6-18. The Tanzania Outreach Project is part of the Africa Project. Money raised from this effort will go toward educating children in the villages of Mairowa and Kondoa in Tanzania.
